Abstract

The main objective of this work has been to analyze the relationship between science, technology and activities related to national defense, in order to understand how they interact and are implemented within the framework of a national security policy. Firstly, different perspectives on this topic were presented, addressing political, philosophical and economic aspects. Finally, the analysis and conclusions are presented that focus on achieving a state of social security against possible external threats, without compromising the material conditions of life.
