Governance and Human Development in National Security and Defense Policy

Good governance in the defense sector requires taking into account the different needs, opportunities and resources of citizens, and that security services are effective and responsible, allowing a better social inclusion to be achieved, facilitating access to development opportunities for the most vulnerable, and for which it is necessary to work together with the other sectors of the State, without neglecting the communication strategy. The media play an essential role in the socialization of the rights and, in particular, the duties of all citizens in the construction of national security. The joint work between society and the State will favor the participation of the various sectors involved in the priority objectives of the national security and defense policy (PNMSDN -2030), who play an essential role in the implementation of strategic actions aimed at improving the conditions of human development in the population.
